The Santa Barbara French Festival is the biggest Bastille Day bash in the Western US. It includes an Eiffel Tower, a poodle parade, drag queens doing the cancan… And it’s free. We would LOVE to go.
Now this is something new. A souvenir “brand!” Guess some entrepreneur in Paris got sick of the same old tacky souvenirs and decided to take matters into his or her own hands. Some of the stuff is definitely cooler than what you usually see. But you can’t get IWASIN Paris products online. You have to come to Paris! (Or ask us…) They are in the process of updating their site and online catalogue. Bookmark it for later!

New “concept” store Merci in the Marais (Paris) decorates this little vintage car according to its latest theme (here it’s the Liberty brand). We have a thing for flowery cars and wouldn’t mind having this one. As for the store: bof.
