You’ve surely seen this image before! It was unveiled in December, 2008, when France decided it’s tourism branch needed to freshen up its “brand” and generate more tourism revenue. Apparently, the first version “featured Marianne’s naked breasts, joined by the ‘R’ and ‘A’,” but it was nixed because it was considered too racy for the foreign tourist market. Link
